Joint trip to Nepal in the anniversary year 2025
We have planned a special event for our anniversary year 2025: In autumn 2025, we are organizing a trip to Nepal – together with supporters, friends and other people interested in Nepal. This trip will take place at the end of October / beginning of November 2025 and will last about two weeks.
Sightseeing and projects in the Kathmandu Valley
In the first few days, we explore the Kathmandu Valley, including visits to the royal cities of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan. We also visit selected projects of Himalaya Hilfe Freiburg and enjoy the hustle and bustle of Thamel, including great accommodation in Kathmandu.
Trekking in the Langtang region
In the second week, we offer an optional trekking tour in the Langtang region north of Kathmandu, with spectacular views of some of the highest mountains in the world and the opportunity to visit schools.
Our planning places great value on individual freedom and takes the needs of older participants in particular into account. For this reason, we only decide on the content of the trip and the itinerary once we know who is interested in taking part. In Nepal, we work together with the tour operator Magnificient Himalayan Trek, which was founded over 30 years ago by Bhim Panta – who was also a co-initiator of Himalaya Hilfe Freiburg. There is therefore a great relationship of trust here.
